Poetry by Irish poet Michael O'Dea. (poems © Michael O’Dea, Dedalus Press, Amastra-n-Galar, Lapwing Publications)

slump of old houses,
nothing stirring.
A face in a window
like a saucer in darkness
looking out on nothing
but the years unturned.
