Poetry by Irish poet Michael O'Dea. (poems © Michael O’Dea, Dedalus Press, Amastra-n-Galar, Lapwing Publications)

but continuously,
exciting the retina,
and cumulatively;
creating a giddiness ‒
optical intoxication.
